Photography by Warren Poitras: Photography that speaks volumes
Warren Poitras is a professional photographer serving the Monterey Peninsula. A retired Carmel Police Detective, Warren has been photographing landscapes, portraits, weddings and other special events for more than 35 years. Living in Carmel Valley directly adjacent to Garland Regional Park, he has spent countless hours capturing its timeless beauty. The quality of his work reflects a long history behind the lens.

New Orleans
... is a truly beautiful city with a unique musical heritage unlike any other American city. The image to the right was taken in the lobby of the New Orleans Airport. The statue of Louis Armstrong, perhaps the City's most famous musician, is roughly 2.5 times life size. The mural behind it is approximately 60 feet wide and depicts all of the renouned musicians New Orleans has produced thus far.
We spent several days in New Orleans and took a trip to the swamps near Slidell last October. Here are a few images from both locations.
